Flying Pigs
Kindergarten students worked with the saying, "when pigs fly". We read the book, When Pigs Fly by Valerie Coulman and pictures by Roge. Students used a balloon as a form for the pigs body. Cardboard, tubes, and tape were used to help create wings, a nose, and legs. Students used paper maché to cover this form. After the maché process was complete, students painted their pigs and the I helped hot glue eyes, ears, and tails on. It was a great experience!
